Hi Kateri, That is quite a sensitive photograph. I like the composition and over-all look a lot. The farmer needed to restrict access and hence, that lock. Nothing formidable just practical. Have a really great coming week!
Awesome photo. I don't know about your area, but around where I grew up most fences, gates etc. have been removed to allow farmer to farm every inch of their land.
What fun for me to browse your older posts here, walking with you through tinted skies, beside barns bowed by gravity, and among poetry. Thank you for these glimpses of beauty.

ReplyDeleteIt would take a while to get through that, wouldn't it?
ReplyDeleteWhat a good shot it makes, though.
Great picture of a forgotten lock on an obsolete gate! :)
ReplyDeleteHi there - that a great image. I like finding things like that as well.
ReplyDeleteI wonder who it would go in black and white.
Cheers and thanks for the comment.

I like the shot and sense that there is a real story there if we could only know it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great shot. I absolutely love the textures in the picture.
ReplyDeleteWonderful details and textures in this shot.
ReplyDeleteThe image also evokes a sense of wonder about what the story is behind it.
