Wow! This served as a good reminder to me that not everyone in the upper half of the U.S. is frozen solid! We've been driving full sized trucks & trailers on our lakes for a couple of months now. :) I love it when our pond is first freezing over in the fall and you can still see water bubbling beneath & traces of leaves embedded. Your photos are a wonderful reminder of that time! It has been so cold here.. -40° windchills. When it gets that cold I can't get outside much with the camera.
