First blackberries!


I picked over a gallon of blackberries this evening and hardly made a dent in the patch. Blackberries with cheesecake and whipped cream for dessert!

    I used to know a lady many years ago who was THE master blackberry finder/picker in her county for literally decades. She always found the most, the biggest, the best, and the sweetest berries year after year. She's gone now, but your photo made me want to go find some of my own. Mmmm yum!
