It is Skywatch Friday, and we are celebrating ordinary skies again here at Dandelion Haven. I snapped this photo on my way home from work today--I love a lone tree in the middle of a farmer's field. Even on a gray day, there is something serene and comforting about a lone tree.
Good shot.

ReplyDeleteKateri, I had to do a double take. I thought the picture was taken behind the hill from us. I love your pictures.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great place for a tree. I like the trees without leaves. Their branches show all their character.
ReplyDeleteHi Kateri, That tree provides a nice scenic view, shelter for birds and small animals, shade and is good for our environment. Have a super nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteThere is something so moving about a tree standing all alone....
ReplyDeletei agree too!!! there's just something about a lone tree...especially one with no leaves...the bare tree...against the sky...NICE!!
ReplyDeleteLittle snapshots like this make me get shivers. I'm silly, I do realize, but those little moments of beauty are as breathtaking to me as the grand canyon. Thanks for sharing!
